GREAT RACE IN STONEHAM: NOW I AM HOT FOR WORLDCUP IN SUNDAY RIVER

← Blog
by Oliver Kraus/FIS

The slope was perfect today at Stoneham/Quebec, very hard but not really icy. Some snowflakes and clouds covered the sun, but still visibility was good. After I had won the qualification I had a strong feeling for the finals where I edged two Swiss riders Roland Haldi and Heinz Inniger in the first rounds. After that I could beat Daniel Biveson from Sweden bringing me into the big final. My final two runs against Benjamin Karl included too many mistakes to take the victory, so I ended up in Second place only! I am yet quite happy about this result – it makes me hungry for the next competition on Thursday at Sunday River/USA!

Stay free and keep the spirit high! Sigi
